Hurt's 1936 Ford Truck

We met Wayne Hurt and his custom 1936 Ford Truck at the Onton Haydays Cruise-In in Onton, KY.

We were attracted to the good craftsmanship and flathead mill in this truck.

19th Annual Auburn Cruise-In

49-54 Chevy / Gearhead Geek attended this event on July 3rd, 2010, at the Auburn City Park in Auburn, Kentucky.

This was the 19th Annual Auburn Cruise-In. This was our first time at this event.

What is a Real Car?

I was at a car show that had a wide variety of different types of cars, trucks and motorcycles. While I was walking around taking pictures of the cars, I was asked by a man if that was my old rusted car over there. I said “Yes, the rust colored, primer Chevy is mine.” He said “Why do you want an old beater like that?” I asked him “As opposed to what?” He said “A real car like mine.” and pointed to his Tuner Car.

I politely said that we obliviously have different definitions of what a “Real Car” is.
